From the 7th October to 5th November I will be working in Puebla, Mexico. I'm working for The Charlotte Miller Art Project with Juconi (Junto con los niños) – a charity that cares for street children, both in Mexico and Equador.
I'm working voluntarily with three groups of children. I've set up this blog for the trip.
So far, not much to report! I'm preparing materials for the two projects I'll be leading
(1) with boys who are resident at Casa Juconi – we'll be doing portraits based on the work of Julian Opie, and
(2) with two groups of younger children I'll be making mobiles based on thier visions of thier own futures!
I'm more excited than nervous (which is good!) and frantically trying to improve my Spanish
